Turkish Travertine Furnaces
There are travertine quarries in
Denizli, Burdur-Bucak, Mersin-Mut and Sivas regions. The material produced in
these quarries is extracted as blocks and rubble, processed in the factories
and prepared in a sized, polished manner and sold in the domestic market as
well as abroad. Travertines are building materials that contribute to
decoration and have a long life. Therefore, it is highly preferred. Our
country's resources should be used correctly and travertine quarries should
make the right production.
